How to Setup your Noctaly Custom Bot

Note

You need a premium subscription with the custom bot option to have a Custom Bot.

1. Create an Application (Bot)

Go to the Discord Developer Portal , login with your Discord account if you haven't done it yet, and click on New Application.

Give a name to your application, accept the policies, and create the application.

2. Enable Privileged Gateway Intents

Go to the Bot tab of your application, then scroll down and enable Server Members Intent and Message Content Intent.

3. Get the Bot Token

Click on Reset Token. A popup should open, click on Yes, do it!. Copy the token for the next step.

Note

Important! This token is secret and you should never give it to anybody without knowing why and the risks that go with it. Someone with this token can take over your bot.

4. Setup the Custom Bot on the Dashboard

1. Go to the Dashboard .
2. Select the server where your subscription is set.
3. Select the Custom Bot module.
4. Click on Enable Custom Bot.

Insert the token you copied earlier, then enable the custom bot.

5. Final Setup

Congratulations, you're done! You can now customize the bot to match the theme of your server.

Important notes:

• Make sure to invite the Custom Bot to your server.
• Move the role of the Custom Bot at the top.
• The Custom Bot replace the bot Noctaly. You can kick the bot Noctaly as it won't work anymore, but it's up to you.
